The Green Roof Consultancy (GRC), a specialist trading division of EPG Clear Limited has evolved through an ongoing partnership with Ecology Consultancy Limited and Livingroofs.org. The consultancy draws on recognised professional experience in ecology, biodiversity and stormwater drainage and the collective expertise acquired over the last decade developing green roof systems to meet complex ecological considerations in the UK. As consultants we have worked closely with international colleagues, especially in Switzerland, the leading nation in green roof design and approach.

Green roof technology, although not yet fully established in the UK is also widespread in mainland Europe. However green roofs are set to be a major technology within the UK regeneration and construction industries. However currently there is limited knowledge and understanding of this technology beyond the main suppliers. The Green Roof Consultancy is the first specialist consultancy to provide this in the UK.

Green roofs can play a significant role in reducing the impacts of new construction projects and also on older buildings. The technology will become more important as climate change adaptability rises up the agenda.
